On January 25, Riordan will honor an outstanding alumnus, Philip Cazahous with the 2019 Chaminade Award. A member of Riordan’s great Class of 1970, Philip matriculated from Riordan to the University of San Francisco, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting. From there, he went on to launch a successful career as an accountant and investor. In recent years, Philip has served as a trusted advisor and friend of Riordan in his role as a member of the school’s Board of Trustees. “Neither the Restani Gym Renovation nor the Riordan Field Project would have been possible without Philip’s leadership and extraordinary financial commitment to those campaigns,” said Director of Development John Ring. “He has been a wise, principled, and dedicated friend of the school for many years, and is a true role model for all Crusaders.”
